This is not your typical wild life center - Steve Kroschel is the best! You'll meet several unique animals and learn a lot while having the time of your life. So glad we chose this excursion.

We loved our visit to Kroschels. Steve and Mario were excellent and entertaining hosts, as were Mario's daughter and the other presenter. We got up close and personal to many different species. Don't read too much and just enjoy the surprise!

Jovial informative hosts with knowledge of the rescued animals cared for and more informative than a zoo. Great interaction between hosts and animals interspersed with humour. Great photo opportunities.

Excellent excursion! We visited the refuge as part of a shore excursion from our Alaskan cruise. Steve and his staff have a passion for the earth and the animals that they have rescued. Highly recommend!

The two ownwrs take great pride, with good reasons, to the fact that they rescue abandonned or injured animals. Through the years, they've put their hands on a wide variety of animals including a rare wolverine. On top of that the owners give a great...More
