We arrived before the Eagles came in for the last salmon run but saw a few eagles in the area anyway. This location is incredibly scenic and I was amazed by the beauty. I would love to return someday to see the eagles at the...More

We rented a car and did a leisurely drive through the preserve, we probably saw 50-60 bald eagles from the road which travels by the river for some distance. Take your binoculars because eagles are everywhere, in all stages of life and they don't have...More

We had a fabulous trip here and saw many bald eagles and their nests. The area is serene - no cars, planes, etc for most of the trip. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet among the wildlife.

We toured the preserve with a guide service on 8 person floats. There was an incredible concentration of eagles in the 7-8 stretch of river that we floated. Other animals are possible but we didn't see them this trip. The views would be incredible but...More

Hi We were there about midday early September 2015 and there was no problems seeing eagles. As the guide said, if you see a golfball in a tree in the distance, it's an eagle!
