This was a stop on an Alaskan Cruise. Small port and town. Beautiful scenery. We took a whale tour that was really enjoyable.

There is a very beautiful nature trail that leads to the tidal coast an amazing scenery. A nice museum about the Salmon and the history of the place, couple of restaurants and tasty king crab.

Good brew, friendly people with a nice view. Bald Eagles around the corner on the trail. I believe that the bus stopped really close to take you into town or back to the cruise ship

Looking to go on a Whale Watch tour in Icy Strait Point. It will be my husband, myself, and our two sons (18 and 11). Everything I find is a large boat. Any advice on small boats. I have read you have better views of whales.
