Had such a blast with the Chugach Outdoor Center on Six Mile Creek. A very friendly knowledgeable staff that kept the thrills coming on the river and off. Great at pushing the envelope with safety as a number one priority. Amazing skills with the track record to back it. The owner Jay was very accommodating for our group with hot... More

I did the class IV-V afternoon raft trip. I was amazing. The guides were experienced and know the river very well. The trip is well organized and very professional. Safety is very important to them, If you kill your clients, you will go out of business. Pretty simple concept. So they make sure all riders are safe. The whitewater was... More

Our trip down 6 mile creek involved the following: -Drysuits that really did keep us dry underneath -A lot of layering to warmth, although we do get cold at times on the river -A dump into the river for our entire boat that was quickly and effectively remedied (our guide stayed on and kept everyone safe) -2 bald eagle sightings... AMAZING...AMAZING....AMAZING!!!! This trip topped the list of excitement and adventure in Alaska, while seeing breathtaking views. Before even considering booking, you must know how to swim. Although we never got knocked out of our raft, there is a mandatory swim test before the adventure even starts. And yes, the swim test is in all your gear, in the current of... More

I did the Three Canyon trip in July of 2016. The scenery was spectacular, the guides were great, and the whitewater was stellar. The office was super accommodating and friendly to work with and the guide staff was a really friendly group with a lot of experience. If you are in Alaska and want an adventure on the water, this... Wow, this was fun. we finished the two canyon raft tour and decided to extend our trip to the 3rd canyon with the class 5 rapids. Mom and daughter got off after the two canyons and the boys stayed on. I think they would have been fine doing the 3rd canyon but we had never been rafting and didnt want... More

This was my first time whitewater rafting and it was a trip of a lifetime. I will be talking about it for the rest of my life. Thanks to our guide, John Brown (JB), he has a rubber duckie helmet and made our trip so memorable! He's the man. UNREAL! Thank you!!

first the good: Tommy, our local guide, had a professional yet fun approach. I felt safe with him on the raft, his instructions were clear and it was FUN! The hot tub after the rafting is a great finale; remember to bring some beers if you like drinking! The team was helpful. One thing i majorly disliked, though, to an... More
