Lovely views when ascending/descending on the Tram. Breathtaking views from the top. I got some great photos. There is an informative movie that is played at the theater. I did not partake, but heard good reviews from fellow travelers about the restaurant at the top.

A little expensive but the views are worth it. Spectacular scenery - such a rugged frontier! The restaurant is lovely and the gift shop well stocked.

Worth ride to the top the views are beautiful. Once at the top pick one of the many trails a short walk or a long hike. If you want walk back down or ride the tram.

Tickets were $33.00 per person. Short wait to get in. Once on top, you can take a hike and see beautiful views and they also have restaurant, restroom and shops up there.

No reservation. Just walk up and buy a ticket. You can see the tram entrance as your ship pulls in. I walked off my boat and was at the ticket office in 5 minutes. Based upon your time window, you could hike back into town... More

The tram operates from morning to evening. Ride up is just a few minutes--down the same. Not sure of exact operating hours--I was told I could come and go and take multiple rides up on one ticket.
