Enjoyed the native person at the tram controls who was proud and friendly in answering questions and introducing his language. Once at the top there is plenty to do: you can take a hike, go to a bald eagle exhibit, go to a gift shop...More

A very exciting view with a huge history. Definitely a must see here in Juneau. Lots of trails, gift shop, and the most incredible restaurant with lots of seafood choices among other non seafood eaters selections.

This was a unique trip on a tram. I have been on a tram before and they were very nice however the guide that took us up was awesome. Thanks for a special day to the sky.

Tram ride was shorter than expected but conductor was friendly, informative and sweet. Expensive but for what you get to see and do atop Mount Roberts, totally worth it!

Excellent place to go with your family. Not only for the tramway, but you'll also get a chance to have a great view of the city, enjoy a Museum, gift shop, hike a few trails, see wildlife, have lunch or dinner, etc. Great experience!!

If it is not raining and you have a half-hour, this is a nice side trip. Don't fall for the cruiseline's presale. The tram is only 100 yards away from the docks and you can buy tickets there on the spur of the moment. Up...More

Although expensive for the short distance it goes, this is absolutely worth it. The views are incredible and the walks at the top are well worth doing - we went in July and walked through alpine meadows full of different and beautiful wild flowers. Wonderful.

This was an excellent way to view the surrounding city while going up to Mt Roberts. It was amazing to see the Eagles circling off and on through out the ride up and down!

My husband & I had some time to kill after our first cruise excursion. (Holland America) The tram ride was a nice way to end the day. We got to meet Lady Baltimore, the resident bald eagle. There was a large gift shop up there...More

sometimes the clouds minimize the view. we took the walk (loop) towards the cross, but not to the cross and had a positive experience. Neat twisted trees were a suprise.

No reservation. Just walk up and buy a ticket. You can see the tram entrance as your ship pulls in. I walked off my boat and was at the ticket office in 5 minutes. Based upon your time window, you could hike back into town... More

The tram operates from morning to evening. Ride up is just a few minutes--down the same. Not sure of exact operating hours--I was told I could come and go and take multiple rides up on one ticket.
