Lets just say that its good beer when you travel a few thousand miles to drink it! Unfortunately its not distributed on the east coast where I am BUT thats ok, gives me a valid excuse to visit! I digress... when visiting Juneau, do yourself a favor and visit. Its easy to take a tour from the shop in downtown... More

We booked a Whale and Ale tour finishing with Alaska Brewing Co Tour. When we got there, our driver asked if we could get a drink since we were thirsty. The Manager, a short little guy said "They'll get back there soon enough, they can wait". I'm sorry, how rude. My husband is a homebrewer and being told to wait... More

Alaska Brewery is a nice stop while in Juneau. They have a depot in downtown that provides shuttles to the actual brewery. You get a bus ride to the brewery (in an industrial park), a tour, and a tasting for $20. The tour is more like a talk. It's informative and you learn some of the very unique things that... More

Fun to try different beers, some that can only be tasted right here at the Brewery. Watching the bottles filling on the assembly line was fun. Special tour by employee Joy made it a interesting unique tour, we learned the insider information we always wanted to know! Thanks for a great tour! We made this our first stop!

I understand that breweries aren't everyone's idea of a good time, but if you do like that kind of thing, check this place out. Very small tasting room, tours of the facility only during summer. Some decent merchandise for sale, and lots of good beer. Grab a glass or 3 tasters and have a chat with the super friendly staff.... More

Place stinks like a...wait for it....a brewery! Floors are sticky, prices are silly high. wait staff for samplers are friendly. Only beer worth drinking is the Amber. They try and try to come up with new recipes but the only one that's any good is the one they copied. They are not an environmentally minded business. They produce a lot of... More

We arrived by our cruise ship and took a 10 min cab ride. We had two junior high kids with us and they liked it also, it has neat things for sale in addition to beer. Very family friendly, not real big but worth going to. By some random chance we bumped into our next door neighbors in Texas...pretty funny.... More

Awesome beers, some nice curios in the store, and did I mention awesome beer? A great place to go on a wet day, and if you are fed up with glaciers, parks, wildlife and shopping, a great place to go. Awesome staff and awesome beer, could not ask for better.

Encouraged by friends who visited the brewery a few years prior we ventured to The Alaska Brewery after our whale watching expedition and so happy we did. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly staff of good bartenders who you can tell really enjoyed what they were doing. Kelly (one of the bartenders) immediately... More

We had a cruise stop in Juneau. In our downtown walk, we came across Alaska Brewing Company. Upon ente2, it was a quaint bar and the greet was good. We were sat and we had a server Michael. He suggested several entrees and which were helpful. We had the halibut plate and of corse craft beers. The service was great... More
