This visit was the highlight of our trip to Juneau. We saw active calfing of the glacier, nearby waterfalls, and lots of seals.

We travelled through the mirror reflection water on our cruise ship. The Fjord is truly wonderful. Considering how big it is, there was an eerie silence. There was a large chunk of ice that had come away from the glacier, that was this fascinating icy...More

the unbelieveable size and color of the glacier was amazing! Hearing it move and rumble was humbling. The NCL captain did a remarkable job spinning the ship so everyone could get a view

We were still on Explorer of the Seas but we were able to get fairly close. The sun came out so you could appreciate the blue ice. So beautiful and quiet. Absolutely stunning. Hope it is still there in a few years.

We visited this beautiful place onboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship. I have always wondered why people are so drawn to Alaska and Tracy Arm explained it. Stunning mountains, majestic trees and glacial sightings highlight the early morning visit. We had a crisp, clear day...More

Nature is amazing and it was incredible to view an actual glacier and learn about its path throughout the years.

We saw it on our cruise and it didn't get too close to the glacier, but all the views were amazing, lots of blue ice.

I was on a cruise and the ship went into this area for the day. There is another small craft that will take you closer to the glacier. Walkers, wheelchairs and scooters are used on the ship. We did not do the small craft... More

We have cruised to Alaska several times but this time we flew into Juneau and stayed a week. We had been on excursions with the Allen Marine group while on cruises and decided to use them again. From their website, I called... More
