Come aboard the "Aleutian Ballad" crabbing vessel as seen on season 2 of the Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch". Depart Ketchikan Alaska for a 3 hour trip to catch king crab, snow crab, octopus, fish, prawns and more. This tour also features some of the best eagle viewing on the planet. Share the allure and adventure that draw fishermen to the sea. Fishing legends that have worked the Bering Sea are your guides, some you may have seen on TV. The vessel has been retrofitted for guests comfort and fun, with a "live" tank on deck to allow for closer viewing of the wondrous creatures brought on board. Guests stay warm, dry and comfortable while we sail calm and protected waters. This is the REAL ALASKA and you won't want to miss it!

Everyone in the crew was friendly, funny, and considerate. It was a very laid back yet safe environment. We brought our kids (ages 8 & 10), and they have a great time, as well!

I would recommend this tour to everyone.Very informative & fun. The crew were fun. We had a blast. Would definitely do the tour again. If you weren't a fan of the TV show The Deadliest Catch before the tour you would be afterwards.

I'm a big fan of The Deadliest Catch. Though we didn't actually go out in the ocean and remained intercostal, it was a great experience. The crew was super and the wildlife exceptional.

Great time aboard the Alletian Ballad. Captain and crew were awesome. Seeing how the boat works was amazing and to be able to hold actual crabs...priceless.

Hello! Since we do not serve food on our tour it should be fine. Guest can touch the crab if they want to but don't have to if that's an issue. Hope that helps!
