On the day that our ship cruised into the Ketchikan port, it was raining sooo hard but I got off because I did not know when I would return. When you visit Alaska, take your hooded poncho or raincoat. I had heard of Madam Dolly Arthur and was curious. I walked over to Creek Street which is a part of... More

You'll be met by a docent who provides a good overview of Dolly Arthur's life and career as one of the region's most successful prostitutes. After this, the tour is self-guiding. Short video clips in each room provide more information about the objects in the room. Items in the house were owned by Dolly. Given the age of the items,... More

We had heard about 'Dolly and her House earlier on in in our tour, we were so delighted to see it first hand, in the time we were there, the outside of the house was being photographed non-stop. Great history of Ketchikan way back

Interesting and quick little visit, a quick in and out really, much like former times... And at $10 bucks a head, more expensive than the old days.... no tour here just things to read and tv's to watch as you walk around.

This is a fun place to visit. It is the shady history of Ketchikan and topic is handled tastefully. It is a must visit.

We loved this one, the story was a good one and it was interesting to hear it from a volunteer guide.

Heaven knows what might have been happening on the inside, in those past years! But it is part of the real life when this house offered such a service to the local community. Excellent preservation of a historic icon.

It's an interesting look into the preserved home of one of the most famous "escorts" in town. Kind of cute, but kind of pricey at $10 a pop.

I believe that this is a must do attraction although a $10 admission fee is way too steep for what you see. First a volunteer (dressed in time period attire) tells you a little history about Dolly. You then proceed through the house with commentary provided on tvs. There were many antiques to see & the famous shower curtain. In... More

This was part of a tour we booked, so we walked thro it. Clearly it's emblazoned in city history and folklore, But not a well done exhibit ... Creek Street is a gem, this is (at best) cut glass.

Thank GJ H
