It was difficult to find the road to the ancient oak forest from Sighisoara. The signage is almost non existent. Once at the car park, you can make nice hikes. Be prepared with walking shoes, a lunch and water. There are no signs. If you...More

If you are looking for a okay walk, & don't mind a few steep paths, then this might be a reasonable way to spend 3 or 4 hours whilst in Sighisoara. However, don't expect too much from the Oak Tree Reserve. It is just a...More

I thought we would find a reservation, instead it was a big plateau, with dead trees and people listening to loud music, and eating. The view is kinda nice, but not what I had in mind.

Great bike trip through the park. There is a marked route you can easily follow from Sighisoara to Bradeni Saxon Village.

For walkers there's now a very helpful information board with rail markings, starting on Strada Ana Ipatescu (DJ106) near the corner with Strada Mircea Voda. That's just over 1k south from the town centre. The walking path is crossed by some steep mountain bike trails....More

It may have the oldest Oak Tree in Transylvania, it is peaceful and tranquil, but nothing outstanding.

A wonderful escape from the bustle (?) of Sighisoara but have to agree that it is not that easy to find. Like lots of Translvanian sights, it could well do with a few more information points and signs. Well worth the effort though
