This is a very special area in a very special place and it is to the credit of the local community and national government that it remains carefully protected. A 'must visit' place in an increasingly mad world. Enjoy!

Take a co-operative boat trip down the river to the beach. Not to be missed. Fresh breeze, wonderful scenery, slow pace. At the beach, good facilities exist.

A group of 14 of us took a great boat ride, past turtle beach to the tombs and Dalyan. The trip was great, thoroughly recommend it, however, if your boat lingers, just behind turtle beach you are likely to be accosted by a chap, in...More

Take a lazy (co-op) boat ride from Dalyan down to Iztusu beach and enjoy the peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and wildlife. With a private boat trip you can walk the beach at sundown when the place is deserted. Amazing!

I really cannot put into words the magic and presence of this place, timeless fish traps and the workers who use them, a surrounding geology to die for, an amazing variety of co-located habitats and species, topped with the measureless Iztuzu beach, really one of...More

Pleasant boat trip around the waterway. Lots of bird life and dragon flies to be seen. Saw a number of turtles both in the water and on the rocky banks. They can be difficult to photograph.

You'll see great unspoiled scenery and bird life, and we saw 1 turtle in early April briefly. The beach cafe was open and you pay about 3 TL on arrival. The boats to the beach seem to have an official price of 180TL for a...More

The best way to explore this area is by boat. Boats can be hired for a few hours or the whole day. They leave from the riverside in the centre of dalyan. I can highly recommend the boat owned by Akay. If you want more... More
