The tombs are best viewed via a boat trip, guide full of interesting facts. Ranging from the wealthy tombs which took 5 years to complete, down to the simple pigeon hole type for the poorer people.

The views of the rock tombs as you enjoy a meal in the evening by the harbour make for a unique experience. There is also a now a small visitors centre built in 2015 and located on the walk to Kaunos. The history to the tombs is fascinating and the views of the tombs as you take a boat through... More

We visited the Rock Tombs on a boat trip, we stopped under them to take photos, you can not go up close to them, but worth viewing anyway. Probably better to keep tourists from trampling all over them and ruining them. Amazing the work that went into making these.

These rock tombs were built approximately 2500 years ago and well preserved until now. It is not possible to see inside.

We took the rowing boat over with our mountain bikes (which didn't cost any extra), very cheap and the ladies are fabulous. Great trip on your own or with a guide. The tombs are amazingly preserved.

If you are going to the beach by public boat have your camera ready as you sail past them. Not accessible on foot but a great photo opportunity. Walk by the riverside at night to view them lit ,

Worth a trip to see the tombs which are carved into the natural rock face. We did the tour by boat and this afforded some good photo opportunities. Well worth a look.
