Favorite Snorkel Spot so Far

This is an amazing snorkel site with lots of fish and beautiful coral. One of the best areas we have ever snorkelled around the world.

Went here and snorkeled as part of our dream day from reef discovery, ( pure snorkeling) lots to see and all kinds of fish and coral. clams of all colors. Very clear water, feels great too. A place not to miss.

We were excited to snorkel in Bora Bora. The fish were awesome, but the coral has not been taken care of. We saw so many people standing on the reef, it was very sad!!

Stayed at the Sofitel Private Island and went Kayaking from the resort here to the Coral Gardens which are essentially around the corner. There are many fish all around and even sharks and sting-rays.

Just came back from Bora Bora last month and overall love the snorkeling in Bora Bora, but I must point out that this TA listing is very misleading because both the reviews and the pictures are from various places in Bora Bora. Some are referring to the eagle ray spot near the tip of Motu Fan Fan (where you will... More

Best trip with so much underwater life. You will fully enjoy and feel that each moment has a new discovery! Go independently with a boat rental, which is easy to do! Avoid expensive excursions. Best trip ever.

We rented a boat and took it over to the Coral Garden. There were only 2-3 other small boats there and maybe 10 other people over a relatively large space. I am not the biggest fan of snorkeling. I don't know why. I used to be on the swim team in high school, so maybe all the time in the... More

The reef is every shallow and t=water flows in with a steady flow. My mind imagined a conveyor belt of coral with me still. Lots of fish. CLEEAAR water. Get a reliable dive boat. Dont worry about floating. ITs tough to sink. If need be get a underwater camera. Dont forget the waterproof sunscreen.

We are staying in a hotel which is on the other side of the island of the coral gardens, and pass by them a couple of times each day in a kayak. On the average day you can count 5 or 6 boats and perhaps 20 to 50 people in the water. On a day when a cruise ship is... More

There are many options to go to the coral garden. I visited for the first time with pure snorleking (best option) and later I get there on a caone from the Maitai Hotel. Tours make easier to get there and having extra information, but I think thar later it is really good to go by yourself. I you like to... More
