Keystone Canyon is a grand entrance into Valdez Alaska. There a numerous places to stop and visit waterfalls and a couple of abandoned tunnels from a failed railroad venture. Historical markers help bring an understanding of the areas's heritage.

Mountains and landscape along this road are among the best I have ever seen. Both sides of the road have gorgeous mountains and waterfalls. It is mind boggling to see the very high markers along the road to guide the snow plows in winter.

Keystone Canyon always leaves me amazed no matter what season we go there. The perpendicular cliffs and waterfalls are breathtaking. If you go in winter you can watch the ice climbers on bridal veil falls. It's amazing!

You have to drive throw it to get to Valdez. It's a beautiful drive and awesome views of the water falls and the river that runs throw it. You have to stop to take pictures of the awesome waterfalls.
