Any easy way to capture and better understand the history of Bisbee. We toured the museum after the mine tour and I think this made the museum more meaningful. We love to visit towns like Bisbee that have so much history!

The Museum was excellent, had great displays and described the local history of the area very well. We would certainly visit this again.

Very good guiding tour with detailed explanation on how the town developed itself through the years from the late 1800 ' s through the closure of the mines in 1974. Nice exhibition showing minerals discovered in the copper, silver and to a lesser extend gold mines.

Great mine tour suitable for all adults and children over 8. You get a feeling of what it was like as a miner inside a mountain but tour does not feel claustrophobic. On weekends be sure to reserve ahead as it often sells out.

This museum was the reason for our drive to Bisbee as it was recommended by several friends. There are a variety of visuals, photos, anecdotes and such that give one a feel for the copper mine and life in Bisbee a hundred years ago. You can tell it is affiliated with the Smithsonian as everything is professionally done.

Gorgeous native rock collection with quality that would rival world's largest museums. Stunning gemstones just happened to be in places where the prized copper was. But the real star of the museum is the story of Copper mining and the development of Bisbee. Recommend that you start there and take the time to read the panels and watch the short... More

Nice historical displays outlining the process and progress of copper mining in Bisbee. The gem displays were especially attractive.

The Mining Museum provides additional historical records and information on Bisbee's copper mining past. It's well worth the visit for anyone interested in understanding more about this topic.

We had a great guide, a former miner himself who's now an Octogenarian leading tours with verve and wit! The mines built Bisbee, so a visit to Bisbee without learning about the mines would be a shame. It's an hour long and very interesting!
