Many trails, you can hike as little or as much as you like. We took a 3.5 mile loop from the Nature Center which included part of the Go John and Overton Trails. Trails are rated Easy/Moderate. The staff is courteous, professional and very helpful....More

My wife and I enjoyed the 3.5 mile Overton Trail/Go John Trail loop hike that starts and ends at the Nature Center. There's about a 400 foot gain in elevation and the trail is very well marked and maintained. Be sure to wear hiking shoes,...More

We actually visited her twice for hikes. You can do a simple stroll or do one of several loops and really get a work out. Dogs on leash are welcome, horse mountain bikes all share the trail, and at least on our visits everyone got...More

The acres set aside in Cave Creek allow for a close-in hike that immerses you in the desert wild. The scent and sign of horses will be with you on every inch of the trails, as there is a large stable doing robust business in...More

We went on a whim and had a great time. Close to the city but far enough away to have some quiet. We loved having the restrooms and trash cans close by.

We haven't walked this on in a while and it did not disappoint! The $6.00 fee is worth it. Well maintained trails and excellent facilities. We hiked the Maricopa trail for 3.5 miles of beautiful vistas. Bring a camera!

Great public park (county/fee) for late December hike. Easy to moderate circle trail with uphill and then down but gradual. Pretty busy with hikers and horseback riders, watch for horse droppings. Arizona friend had annual pass, so no fee today

With a wide selection of well-marked trails, we opted for a gentle 1hr stroll along a circular trail. Fabulous views and fauna, not many people, the occasional shady tree, and a bench or "comfy" rock to sit on and gaze out across this amazing countryside....More
