We were fortunate to be waited on by a very knowledgeable woman who doesn't normally work weekends. I wish I knew her name, but she worked on February 19th and was awesome!! She had such a command on the details of each wine (grapes, wine making, subtleties of the wines, etc). We had a delightful tasting and purchased four bottles.... More

Very helpful to the novice taster!!! Both Jim & Suzy Reed were knowledgeable & friendly. Enjoyed "Trevor the Peacock" & left with beautiful photos of him. Appreciated very much the wineries history. Well worth the drive.

Even in the winter this winery is still fun to visit. The people are nice and the wine taste great! They even just started their distillery with making rum and whiskey. Recommend for a fun peaceful day get away.

They have two tasting rooms, one for wine and one for spirits. Both were fabulous. We had a great time at both tasting rooms - the folks working there really know their stuff and make excellent wines. My girlfriend, who is a committed NON enjoyer of wine finally found a wine that she likes. The lady at the wine counter... More

The place was kind of depressing and the woman didn't know too much about the wines. But she was informative about the building's history. I thought the wines were awful and we were all hard pressed to finish the tasting. Will not return.

My husband and one of our favorite couples made the trip to Sonoita on a Friday afternoon and made this our first stop. Our friends tasted the wines and bought two bottles. They loved the flavors and the gal was very helpful. Sorry, we didn't get her name! We chose not to taste any but certainly will next time. Since... More

The Village Of Elgin Winery is the jewel of Elgin. My husband and I first went to the VOE over 18 years ago when we would vacation in AZ. Since then, we have moved to SE AZ and frequent the VOE as often as we can. I like sweet wines and they have quite a few. Hubby likes the red... More

Went for the wine tasting. Tried seven different wineries. This is the BEST. Great tasting wines smiling faces friendly info and comfortable atmosphere. Their wines are the BEST in the area. Great selections...best pricing...most informative. No snobs here. Just kind knowledgeable folks who do wine right.
