Overview
More
Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. In 1988, the Hualapai Indian Tribe, which has occupied the land since 1883, established GCRC, welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area, including the nearby lodge, ranch, River Runners and Grand Canyon West. To further increase tourism in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.

We were a bit surprised that you get nowhere near grand canyon (at least in this location) without paying $300+ for a family of four. The value you got for your money was a bus ride to three different locations. Once at Eagle Point and...More

West Rim of Grand Canyon is not a national park but run by Hualapai Indian Tribe. If you have time to go to North Rim of Grand Canyon I would advise you to choose that over West Rim. However, if you are flying in and...More

I would not recommend this. You are NOT allowed to take your camera, cell phone, purse...basically nothing...onto the Sky Walk. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website and we did not find out until we drove over 2 hours and read the sign...at the...More

We're are sorry to hear you feel Grand Canyon West is a rip-off and respectfully disagree. The restriction on cameras and other personal belongings is to prevent people from dropping items on the glass panel or over the railing into the Grand Canyon. We will...More

We're glad to hear you enjoyed your helicopter adventure at Grand Canyon West and Skywalk. You're right about it being a great option for seniors who are unable to hike or walk long distances. Thank you for visiting.

We drove from Las Vegas on a day trip, and therefore chose the west side because it is two hours closer. In retrospect, I would have rather driven the extra four hours. It is $50 per person to enter the area without access to the...More

The tour does not go through any caves. However, you do see natural waterfalls, various scenic formations and you have a picnic stop along the Colorado River. It's a full day and a real "bucket list" experience.
