Make this you first stop to pick up a map of Jerome, it's free but they have a jar for donations that helps them with their costs.

I had been to Jerome a number of times but the town now has a new level of activity and vibrancy. The old historic buildings have been signed with details of their historical interest and there was definitely more activity and people in town. The buildings are old and different and there is a lot to see perched on the... More

This review is to report the owner of Arizona Discoveries, a shop in town that has a rude & belligerint owner. She sabatoges her own business, yells at shoppers in her store, and gives visitors a very negative opinion of an otherwise charming old Western town. You need to stop her from poisoning your town, as I, and several others,... More

Well this is interesting as the building is very small and old but it has the history of the town and the sites to view from within and out

Once a thriving mining town, Jerome went from boom to bust. For years it was a ghost town, but not now, it's a thriving town with much to offer. The first thing I noticed this summer day was the cooler temperatures. Jerome has great shopping, many items that are one of kind. It's also an artist community if art is... More

The Chamber of Commerce is also the information center. They had a knowledgeable woman in there that was able to suggest various things to see in Jerome and in the communities nearby.

This small building is right near the sliding jail. The dilightful gal was a local and had great stories to tell. She was very helpful, since there are about 500 residents and she knows them all!! Many handouts and some souveniers available.

As a couple who lived 15 years in a similar small western mining town, we very much enjoyed our day visit to Jerome. My wife even commented that the stores/shops were much nicer than those in Uptown Sedona! We do wish some of Jerome's many vacant/destroyed building sites could somehow be replaced with period style structures. We also found the... More

This was the response that I received from my teenagers when I asked them what they thought of Jerome as we pulled away after our day trip to the area from Sedona and my wife and I whole heartedly agree. If you have the better part of the day to visit and explore Jerome, start out at the Jerome State... More
