Great productions including the annual pantomime, musical shows, plays and ballet. The theatre is in the smart part of the Johannesburg Central Business District in Braamfontein, near Witwatersrand (Wits) University. It is on the Gautrain bus route and close to the Rea Vaya bus station.

I loved every moment of the show. The acoustics were fabulous. The time flew it is a show worth seeing.

This was my first visit to the Joburg theatre as in the past i always thought that joburg was a no go area for an outing.......... i was mistaken good ambiance, nice parking... all in all moneys worth outing . will definitely go again.

We have been regular visitors to the Joburg theatre for years, but was blown away recenly when we went to see West Side Story there. It is really has impressive faciilites - the stage and set were incredible!
