Nice mall in great location of Johannesburg. Adjacent to some of the best resturants in Rosebank and ideal for tourist and local shopping.

We went Sunday to get groceries at Woolworth in the Rosebank Mall, but first decided to stop at the Sunday Market. We got there early and had a tasty breakfast of Greek and Thai foods. Lots of great foods, and great art and clothes. Love the regular mall, too. Lots of great stores!

Lovely mall in a safe location with nighttime security outdoors. Dining choices at night are outstanding. Daytime shopping experience can be wonderful with several high-end stores. The shops we went in were filled with attentive and knowledgeable sales staff, and security in the mall itself was present. We parked on the street with no problem both daytime and nighttime.

Indoor and outdoor seating - lovely atmosphere. Service is average- I will rule out friendly coS it’s just service. Food is okay - They need to perfect the Greek coffee - totally battled to down it the second time - medium had no sweetness and when I was served the second time it was overly sweet and I battled drinking it - was a bummer

The main initial purpose of my visit was to get on the Johannesburg Red Bus Tour which starts here. I was staying at the Protea Wanderers Hotel so about a safe half hour walk mainly along Oxford Road to it which also acts as the entrance for the Gautrain.

A nice selection of shops and eateries, most indoors but some eateries were on outside (open air) pedestrians malls which added to the ambience. I enjoyed my visit here.

From my limited experience I prefer it to Melrose Arch.

The mall is a large compound no doubt and packed with stores. Two stores in a circular design, much walking but hinestly no wow factor. It felt sterile and the stores mostly deserted. I have to say it was just as they opened I went. I would visit again with family hopefully and emjoy the multitude of ahooping, hopefully with good prices. This time in the afternoon.

This mall is also listed under the ZONE ROSEBANK and most people cannot tell the one section from the other.

The MALL / Zone Rosebank Shopping Centre used to be amazing. Nice Restaurants with outdoor seating. Now it is one of the worst malls in South Africa.

And South Africa does NOT have a lot of Malls with fresh air. Everything is INSIDE and closed in, which South Africans hate.

We want to be OUTSIDE !!!

So this Mall was badly needed.

The owners and Management don't have a clue how to build or run a RETAIL SHOPPING CENTRE.

Most people wont even go here anymore. It has become dingy and it does not feel safe.

THE NEW EXTENSION IS A TOTAL DISASTER AND YOU NEVER EVEN SEE PEOPLE IN HERE ANYMORE. BEFORE IT USED TO BE SO BUSY YOU COULD NOT WALK. NOW ITS A GHOST-TOWN.

NEVER BEFORE IN THE HISTORY OF SOUTH AFRICAN RETAIL HAS A MALL BEEN SO BADLY DESTROYED - FROM HERO TO ZERO.

The Mall of Rosebank is a huge mall with a lovely outdoor section with many eateries and very large indoor sections of shops. There is a huge Woolworths and many other stores that international travelers will recognise, such as H&M.
The Mall is right next to a Gautrain stop (the train from Tambo Airport) so if you are stuck in Johannesburg for many hours, take the train out to Sandton, the Mall of Rosebank and the African Craft Markets
