The architectural structure is state of the art. Well maintained facilities for rugby and soccer. Convenient location just outside Johannesburg Central.

The stadium is not to bad but the car park is a bit of a problem. I'm not sure about the safety of the vehicle.

I was lucky enough to have visited to this stadium at the World Cup ... seeing Spain beat Paraguayan the 1/4 finals. It's an olde skool stadium but with a good atmosphere when it is full. Worthwhile checking a football match there ... not sure if Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs still play there occasionally. But that's a match that... More

Was there for the recent Irish test as well as a few of the Lions games. the Stadium has an awesome atmosphere when full. Getting in and out of the stadium is relatively painless and the seating areas are well signposted and easy to find. Toilets can get a bit messy when the stadium is full and the queues for... More

While you're in Johannesburg you should try to take in a rugby game at Ellis Park. The venue really is World Class and if you pick the right event, the atmosphere is spectacular.

What is there to say about a stadium? It is a good stadium with decent parking. The food concessions are alright. It is an older stadium in need of a refurbishment, but it does the job.

The venue for the legendary Springbok 1995 Rugby World Cup win, this is one of the true iconic sporting venues. It hosts rugby, football (soccer) and concerts. It's not in the best part of town, so be careful and alert. There is plenty street parking available, not it's not limitless, but would recommend you catch a cab. Don't leave anything... More
