Lovely trails to follow. For beginners as well as those that want to hike a bit more. Travel in groups rather to stay safe.

Hiked with friends in the reserve and it was a pleasure... The place is clean and interesting. Lots of walkers on this particular Sunday so it is obviously popular in the south of Johburg. Reading about the history of the land makes one realize how...More

Nice walking trails. Remember to take water along your route. Free entrance into the reserve and walking is also at no charge. Rest room facilities at the entrance. No sure whether there is a kiosk.

A choice of 3 distances. Lovely hike (the short distance is really a walk). Lovely views from the top of the hills. Take enough water with you if going in the warmer weather.

Hi wbsailor It will be cutting it very fine. The reserve in totality can take several hours to explore. I would not recommend it based on your time lines.

I do not think so, it's a nature reserve and having fires is not ideal. I would call the parks board to confirm and be sure.
