ATAMELA - "Your gateway to South African culture and its people”!ATAMELA, meaning 'come closer', was established in 1999 to provide authentic guidance to vistors of South Africa. The name aims is to build a bridge between Africans, white South Africans and visitors that come from other countries/continents through cultural tour packages. Our logo-design emphasizes this through the three roads that meet in the middle. The three roads represent our visitors, us Africans and our white South African counterparts that meet through our tours. They are all equal and they meet to share different life experiences and thus learn from each other.Culture means "A way of life". This can further be defined as the usual way of behaving or acting by a certain group of people from a specific area and country. Our core business is selling cultural tour packages that are different from your normal sightseeing or beach holidays.

We took a day tour with Thuli and felt that we really got to experience Johannesburg & Soweto. Thuli really shares herself and will take you deep into the city and make it come alive. A highlight of our South African adventure.
