Visited Highmoor for the first time with our 9 and 12 year old. Easy 2km hike to the dams with spectacular views. Very scenic drive up to the reception with tar roads. Even saw some snow, definitely recommend a visit.

The never ending views of this fascinating mountain range along South Africa's escarpment will stick with you for life. These mountains have holiday resorts for the southern, mid and northern regions along the routes between Durban and Johannesburg.

An endless vista of mountains with rivers flowing and waterfalls. Iconic sites too numerous to mention. Worth at least a few days in areas such as Cathedral Peak and Champagne Castle near Winterton.

The Drakensberg with its dragon like skyline is always majestic in its appearance and its colouring changes as the day proceeds.

Went on a short day walk in the Bushmans Nek area to Halfway cave. Moderately easy walk and beautiful views all round. The Parks Boards Officer at Bushmans Nek was friendly, professional and helpful.

Hi Faten, this would likely be referring to a walk from the hotel, which is already at quite an altitude.
