Nice gardens for a walk or a picnic. There are secluded spots or areas overlooking the pond. The gardens are quite clean and there is a security guard that walks around. Entrance is free which is a bonus

Peaceful, clean, quiet, free entrance, ideal for picnics, but more like a big park, I suppose its because we expected koi ponds, miniature gardens, maybe a tearoom, lots of quaint buildings, maybe gazebos, stepping stones, zen gardens.

The play area is lovely for children and the toilets are well managed. However the gardens are in need of upgrading due to the presence of large barren, patches broken statues and weeds.

Beautifully tranquill, lovely gardens that are well maintained. Not something that would ordinarily be expected to find in Durban.

Great place to relax on a warm sunny day, lovely garden , well maintained. There are plenty of space to set up your picnic , tables and chairs and other more hidden areas in the garden. some beautiful bird wild life and then monkeys around too.

Beautiful gardens to walk around and have a picnic. Quite peaceful during the week. Not everywhere easy to walk if you have a disability

Beautiful atmosphere with lush bushes and trees, ideal for a family outing as open fire braais are allowed. Sadly becoming neglected and unclean...

Highly recommended as a picnic venue with friends and/or family. Open fires are not allowed, spit braai's are. Electricity is available upon request and at a small fee. Marque's are also not allowed but a specific size tent is, check with the local municipality regarding this.
