Gavin & the team were brilliant on our 3-day Sabi Sands & Kruger Safari. They were attentive & looked after our every need... all in a relaxed family atmosphere. We loved the small friendly camp & dinners around the fire. Meals were great. Our guide was really knowledgeable and answered our questions & knew when to wait for the animals... More

We booked a 5 day safaryin tents. In this area you only have 3 luxurious tents. Meaning not more than 6 adults no kids allowed. 2 game Safaries mornings 6 to 9 pm than hot brunch, free time till 3, game safary 3 to 7 than dinner at the camp fire. This is a great way of action and relaxation.... More

This was without doubt an experience of a lifetime. I went on the 4 Day Kruger Park and Sabi Sands Safari and the main disappointment for me was that i didn't book for longer. The Staff / guides are fantastic. We were met on arrival as though we had returned home. Such a welcoming experience. The raised tents were great, comfortable... More

We wanted an authentic safari experience, we did not want to "camp" nor did we want to stay in a 5 star hotel. Tydon met and exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 3 1/2 days at the camp just outside Sabi Sands. The tents, on raised platforms, were essentially hotel rooms under a tent. All that was missing was tv... More

Everything about this experience (5 day Kruger and Sabi Sand safari staying in safari camp) was top notch, I have NOTHING bad to say. Gavin and his staff were friendly, willing to chat at anytime, even late into the night, and the service was unbelievable. A staff member was taking my plate immediately after I was done and always on... More

We live in SA and have been visiting the Kruger and other private lodges for more than 40 years. This year we decided to try Tydons Bush Camp. Tydons is a family run business. Gavin, the owner is a charming helpful man. The kitchen was most accommodating, especially to those who have food issues. We were a party of ten parents,... More

We loved everything! The chef, Suzi, made amazing meals (meaties and vegetarians appreciated her cooking alike). The accommodation was comfortable and reasonably priced. There is a bathroom in each tent. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. You get the up close and personal experience in SabiSands to see lots of animals and they also take you to Kruger. We saw... More
