We got to see the show one evening as part of our tour package. We found the show not well rehearsed and a bit disorganized. We were disappointed.

A typically predictable holiday entertainment which reminded me of holiday camp or cheap hotels abroad style of evening shows. The young dancers were noisily enthusiastic and of course dragged people out to make fun of them to entertain the crowd. Yawn.

Enjoyed the show, but felt the evening was somewhat overpriced. The dancers were very enthusiastic but it generally felt a bit amateurish.

We attended the evening show in the grounds of our hotel. There is a lot of jumping and acrobatics, and the stamina shown by the group is impressive.

How far is it from Cape Town to the Shangana Cultural Village, can you do a day trip?

Answer
Response from Ian B |
It is a very long way from Cape Town and therefore it is not possible to do a day visit. You would need to be visiting Mpumalanga and/or the Kruger Park.
