We spend some time in Namaqualand in August (just before flower season) and had such a great time. It was very dry but still beautiful with flowers starting to bloom here and there. The Namaqua National Park is a must do for every nature lover.

The Skilpad Namaqua Flower Camp is situated in a great location for viewing the flower spectacle. As the flowers usually only appear in August/September, this camp is only open for about 6 weeks during that period. The tent is comfortable, although small. The beds have...More

The flowers in the park this year were spectacular and apart from really horrendously corrugated roads the park is lovely

Blankets of flowers stretching miles. Unbelievably wonderful and the colours don't seem natural they are so vivid. It is both VERY seasonal and VERY weather dependant. If it's cold and wet the daisies close up and can hardly be seen. When they are out in...More

We did a five day tour with Namaqua Tours ( Namakwa Toere). What an experience. The flowers were beautiful along the West Coast, in the Biedouw valley, on the way to Wupperthal, etc etc. Loved every minute of this trip. Will recommend this to everyone.

We visited it in August/September 2015 and were lucky since it was a great year for flowers - the amount and variety of flower everywhere surpassed all our expectations. Amazing trip - have to do it!
