Compare what Gold Reef City did with their much less impressive site, to the lacklustre but expensive outing at this museum. It feels like a public sector gravy train rather than the tourist spot it should be.

From the diamond vault to the "underground" mine to the cinema presentation to the photographic exhibition ... this is truly an attraction worth visiting and SO different from the usual boring museaums found around the world. We loved it!

Hallo there. Yes there is places inside the main building where you can buy jewellery. Even oposite the Mine there is also a jewellery company. Hope this will answer your queation
