One of the most spectacular driving stretches in the world - only 9 KM. A must do. If you don’t have a car (we didn’t), hire an Uber. It cost us about $60 including a ride back to town. SW of town along the water.

Anyone who has not driven the Marine drive around Chapman’s Peak has missed out on the most spectacular coastal drive in the world. It’s best to start at HoutBay and ascend the winding road till the toll and proceed slowly , stop at your leasure...More

Great scenic drive but slow speed limit and few places to stop mar the experience. You have to pay to get into the reserve area in the first place and then if you want to complete the drive you pay again to drive the rest....More

You can hire a scooter in town to travel across Chapmans Peak drive and from there you can travel to Boulders Beach to see the penguins. They are both lovely destinations to visit. You can rent a scooter in Cape Town. Take... More
