Major complaint is this tour officially DOESN"T include visiting the actual Cape of Good Hope, just the Nature reserve and nearby Cape Point. We were picked up late, despite being ready from 7:30 (the time suggested in their brochure - someone needs to review where each customer is to be picked up from and notify customers of new expected times).... We booked a half-day's TownshipTour and arranged to be collected at 1p.m. However by the time the driver/guide arrived it was 1:40pm He took us to the District Six Museum and just left us, unlike other groups where the guide was explaining the history of District Six to the visitors. This was quite disappointing as I was particularly interested in... More

Went on two tours, Cape Peninsula and Winelands. Both guides were great, Basil and Morine, thank you! you're amazing!!! Don't miss Cape Peninsula, it's gorgeous. Wine tour needs to improve. You visit Franschhoek village but don't visit any winery there. The last "winery" was a shop. Ok, there was a tasting of a few wines and other liquors. Still, I... More

We had about four trips booked through the African Eagle company and each one was a success!! Friendly drivers with lots of knowledge about all of the different areas we stopped at. Looked after us from pick-up right through to drop-off (at our hotels front door). Some of the trips are a long long day, more so for the driver... More

Very good tours! The staff so professionals! We had two tours with that company unfortunately the second was cancelled because of the bad weather conditions. It was the shark cages tour, and the weather was too windy! Safety first! Thanks africa eagle...recommended!

Would I use the company again? Yes We undertook a private peninsula tour which was a great experience, undertaken with a professional company. The driver was friendly and factual and unlike other tours, we had a say as to where we went and what we did, which was much better than a group tour.

We did the full day Cape and coastal tour. There were 12 of us in the coach. I felt there should have been a driver as well as a guide rather than having one person doing both which seemed pretty stingy to me. We were also not advised that there would be no water on the bus so we were... More

Cornelia was guide. She was lovely. The trip to the Game Reserve was smooth but long! Cornelia kept up her lively commentary the entire trip to make sure we didnt miss out on amazing scenery.

The tour started at District 6 museum where we learned about the relocation of people under the apartheid regime. Then on to Langa (township) where we walked, talked, interacted with local people. We visited their homes, drank some local hooch, attended a kintergarten and generally learned about the way these local people are improving their lives. It was truly inspirational... More

I really enjoyed this trip - we had a lovely guide called Gina, who was excellent. She coped very well giving the tour in 2 languages (English and French) and with a couple of tricky customers. We visited Camps Bay, Chapman's Peak drive, Hout Bay, Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Simon's Town and Kirstenbosch Botantical Gardens. I enjoyed all... More
