Table mountain is one of the 7 nature 's wonder of the world. Located at the Capetown coast, it offers an awesome view of the entire bay. Though it looks entirely flat from below, it is actually not so when you are on it with small rock n boulders scattered here n there. But there is a proper walkway for... More

I hiked up the backside of the mountain from Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Excellent though steep, strenuous climb - sometimes climbing ladders and other times hand over foot. But it was all worthwhile - outstanding views and great nature trails.

A must do! We booked in advance as advised but found the queue of people without tickets moved much more quickly than our queue!! Those people went up in the gondola before us. We queued for nearly two hours. Of course it was worth the wait to see the views from the top.

Great place to visit. The view is amazing. Be sure the sky is cloudless and take a jacket with You because the Windows is always quite strong up there.

Ride the cable car, walk up along one of the many hiking trails, walk down, take photos, enjoy breakfast, breathe the fresh air, watch the sun set, look out over the city, hike across it, abseil, climb - you can do it all here and always have a reason to be back. Book cable car tickets online to save time... More

Book in advance and get cable car tickets. It's true what they say - if there is cloud on top of Table Mountain then it's not worth the trip as you won't see anything. Amazing views and great at sunset but check the times! A must see attraction if you are visiting Cape Town!

From the moment you board the cable car, you know you're in for something special. The views are inspiring and you can even see the entirety of Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years. A perfect way to kick off a visit to SA.

If you really want to experience Cape Town and Table Mountain I highly recommend climbing the tougher route up the face. It was definitely challenging but so worth it. Loved it. Took about 3 hours doing it that way

How can you go to Cape Town and not go up. A couple of nice simply 15 minute walks suitable for buggies etc. One 30 minute walk over rocks and lots more trails for the more serious walkers. Cafe, shop, toilet etc at the top. Go for the views and to say you've done it.
