This is a beautiful place to see South African plants, and birds, and just to relax and enjoy a peaceful moment. Peace right in the center of the city.

The botanical gardens are beautiful even to walk around like we did in the rain. If your a lover of flowers, trees and gardens, this is the place for you. Easy walking paths and a must see.

The Company Gardens are worth a stroll through if you are visiting Cape Town. There are interesting trees, birds, and plants to be seen here. We visited on a Monday morning and there were very few people but us there.

Visited after seeing Table Mountain. Enjoyed learning its history along with seeing the plants blooming in winter. Had lunch at the cafe. It's a very tranquil spot with a great backdrop of Table Mountain.

This place just calls for a leisurely stroll. There is a rose garden and some beautiful buildings to admire as well as a mini-botanic garden of plants.

The staff was horrible. The restaurant managers need to figure out how to assign wait staff to certain tables to ensure maximum service. The food was good but the service was a damper.

If there is one garden to visit in Cape Town it is the Company's Gardens. Great for all ages and is relaxing and tranquil. The wildlife is amazing and the young ones will love the squirrels (try and locate the albino squirrel). If there is...More

This Garden was set up in the 16th Century to supply fruit and vegetables for the ships travelling from Europe. I'd recommend a long walk through the beautiful garden. We saw numerous birds, squirrels and beautiful trees and plants. Even an albino squirrel.

The Park is in Central Cape Town and busy with people using it mainly for relaxation and walking or visiting the museums. As mentioned before, it is not very big and maybe not ideal for the purpose you want to use it for... More
