The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthral.

We were definitely going to visit Two Oceans Aquarium and add it to the list of international aquariums we have visited but then the opportunity to scuba dive there presented itself and we jumped at it. We enjoyed looking around the world-standard exhibits before entering the water. It was great fun interacting with school groups through the glass, while penguins... More

A very magical world. The aquarium is beautiful and makes you feel like part of the sea. The sting rays are funny to look at with their smiley underside sticking on the glass panels. There is soo much colour when you get to the coral side of things. The feeling is magical makes you feel like you are part of... More

This aquarium was a bit disappointing. They were in a bit of a transition as certain exhibits were being changed for new ones. A few of the tanks had fish that just didn't appear to be thriving. We made it through the whole thing fairly quickly, not sure, maybe an hour or so.

I visited the Aquarium and thanks to my great friend, I was able to go behind the scenes and see how the aquarium works. It was an excellent evening and the aquarium is modern, with amazing fish and other creatures. Don't miss the Penguins!

A definite go to place when you visit Cape Town. Beautiful displays with a gift shop. Visitors get an invisible stamp and can spend as much time as they wish. My personal favorite was the feeding of the penguins. Gorgeous!

Some fantastic creatures to see like the jelly fish, giant spider crabs, penguins. stingrays, tortoise to name a few. I was lucky enough to be there to see diver feed the stingrays and tortoise in a massive tank. That was probably the highlight.

Visited the aquarium with 3 kids and a teenager and they all really enjoyed the penguin feeding and 'Nemo' tank! We also got to watch a scuba diver go into the tank with the manta rays etc. Great experience. Will definitely visit again!

Located at V&A Waterfront of Cape Town before the Water Shed. I have seen much bigger Aquariums in other parts of the world such as Dubai, Canada and Hong Kong. Penguins feeding time is around 13hr00 or 14hr00. You could finish the tour in one hour. Ticket for adult is R150 and R70 for a child under 13 years of... More
