What a lovely surprise this beach is. Very clean sand and we had a lovely walk along the beach without the usual distractions of ice cream sellers and bars - there is nothing there - wonderful

Yes, like stated before, you have to walk a little bit from the parking space, but it‘s just a 15-20 mins. easy walking path, depending on where you want to lay down your towel. Besides the main beach (at the end), there are smaller coves...More

We were travelling back to our Cape Town hotel when we saw a sign for Llandudno....and, being as we have a Llandudno in the UK, we were, of course, drawn to the area! It's a very smart area! There was the most A-MAZ-ING sunset by...More

Quite a small beach really and we preferred the main beach at Llandudno. Still it really was very pretty and so peaceful. Not really worth a special trip though.

Enjoy the sun and sea and...naked people. So not for children and be prepared to walk till you drop to find the place. The nearest parking are is at least a mile away and not sure if your car is safe there.

This is one of the best places in Cape Town. Clean beach with no overcrowding and you get an overall tan. Everybody there minds their own business, and you do what you want to do. Lovely experience.

I visited Sandy Bay in Dec. 2017; the beach is beautiful secluded and worth the hike. The hike is about a 20 minute trek. First you will park at the end of the roadway, near a residential area. Then you will take the paved brick...More
