Buy your tickets on the internet before you go as the ticket booth queue can be over an hour plus another three quarters to get in the cable car. Don't drive there poor parking and take your own water for the queue. When you get to the top utilise the free guided walks that leave every hour from the cafe.... More

Great facility, clean and humorous staff!. Floor of cable car rotates (we thought the guide was joking) so not need to jossle for space when you get in). Smooth ride up but watch your timings for coming down as you may have to wait in a large queue so if you need to be elsewhere by a certain time, take... More

One has to plan the trip according to the weather . So before going there purchase online tickets/ pre book it as otherwise one has to pass through a long queue first for booking and second for the aerial cable way. Once you are up it's a à place which will thrill you , as you can see almost whole... More

I was able to wait for a clear day and then go up the cableway. I had a car and was able to park about 500m from the cableway station: the parking guy was helpful and friendly. No queues and easy to buy tickets and get to the cable car. The rotating floor is disorienting, but a great idea to... More

It's well organised, one of fthe Seven Wonders of the World - altho that's just a gimmick by a clever Swiss (I think) businessman - and runs well. Only the wind really gets in the way, occasionally. Very much an international destination.

SA ID holders get a free ride there and back on their birthdays! We went up in the late afternoon with a picnic to celebrate. We were lucky as the queues had gone from both the ticket office and into the cable car itself. As long standing Capetonians we know and love this ride up, but was still very rewarding... More

We were lucky. It was a calm day so decided to go up the Table to see the sunset. Its half price after 6.30 (maybe 6pm) It does start getting chilly so take a jumper. Fantastic views. If you get the chance and the weather is fine then go! The day before and the day after the cable car was... More
