This was the best view we had in Cape Twon, we went there to see the sunset over the Atlantic and it was amazing, once side the sunset the other the clouds moving across Table Mountain. Will definitely go back, but next time with a couple of glass and a bottle of bubbly to enjoy like many other people were.

We took a sunset tour with the red hop on hop off bus. This was a good choice as the traffic is pretty congested up the hill. It was a clear evening and the views were spectacular all round. We walked about to see the views before settling down to watch the sunset. The authorities have provided a large matt... More

Don't forget to catch a glimpse of the smallest Muslim shrine in Cape Town to your left on your way up and look over the Mother city to your right as you drive the steep road to the top. Go just before sunset, and bag your place on the cliff top facing the ocean and wait... The blood red sunsets... More

The views were stunning from here of Table Mountain, Table Bay and Robben Island. Easy to drive to the top, and there were plenty of people who had taken taxis too. I can imagine that watching the sunset from this point would be amazing.

This section of Table Mountain is a bit more welcoming to the less hardy hikers. As compared to Table Mountain’s flat range, Devil’s Peak or Lion’s Head, Signal Hill offers a leisurely stroll up a slight incline to an area with great views of Cape Town.

We toon advantage of the sunset bus to signal hill - and it's probably the only way to do it given the limited parking at the top. Everyone goes to the north side of the hill, right next to the parking lot, to view the actual sunset and it's quite packed. We actually wandered a little higher to the southern... More

We were driving around cape town for some sightseeing. Signal hill was one of the best stops! You have a great view on Robben Island and also at the table mountain. There is an option to go paragliding but we didn't try that due to our busy schedule.
