Visited today. Driven to a high point of the Reserve, then walked about 3kms back to the restaurant and start point. Not the best time to visit as there were very few flowers and little of interest. Did see a Bushbuck and a tortoise. The walk is arduous and in one or two places quite dangerous so I would definitely... More

Great trip with beautiful views across Knysna. First you are taken up the mountain by vehicle and the Proceed downwards by foot. You do need to be good on your feet to achieve this but if not you can go back down by vehicle and wait for about an hour for the others to reach you. Apparently others who have... More

You can take a trip to the top by truck and then walk down enjoying the great views of Knysna. Such a pretty area.

We booked a tour with the Feather bed Company, parked at their waterfront office and our tour included a ferry ride to the reserve and then a unimog drive to the top of Knysna Heads. We opted to walk down through the reserve, the views from the top amazing. Be warned the walk down is quite steep and difficult at... More

The boat trip across was fairly pleasant, and the guide kept everyone in good spirits with a particularly dry patter. Things then began to go downhill as we began to go uphill... Essentially the tour consists of sitting in a trailer that is dragged up the sandy mountain cliff by a rusty old truck belching exhaust into your face. The... More

This river trip in the National park was good fun and Mark out guide was excellent, would definitely recommend. You have to pay an entrance charge, but you could take a picnic and spend the day there by the river. Other activities including canoeing and Segway.

This trip should be taken when the flowers are in bloom, and when there are plenty of birds about. It is not suitable for older people and those over 65 should not try to walk down.Go down by the tractor and trailer.
