I got to kiss an Ostrich, stand on its eggs and see it twist its neck in positions that would kill a human. Great place for kids and families.

After we had a welcome with coffee or thea we had a guided tour with a very good and funny guide. You could hug an ostrich or feed them. I'd expect to see more ostriches in open field but they only show you some.

Our tourguide Jaco van Dyk showed us all the details of breeding Ostriches. Since we were the only visitors in this tour we had ample time to ask questions and meet with the animals. The tour was humorous and very interesting.

We went to the Congo Ostrich show farm on our back from the Caves. We had a short introduction about how Ostriches first started in South Africa and why this was great as no one wanted to site a listen to a half hour lecture....More

We stopped here after visiting the caves. There were only two of us on our tour and it was great. We learned about ostrich breeding and farming and then visited the incubation room and the ostriches. This farm does not have ostrich riding as it...More

We wanted to go see an ostrich farm, to see the birds up close and take some photos. The tour was informative, but seemed overly choreographed and sometimes cheezy. We did not actually get to 'pet' an ostrich as their tour states, but watched as...More

We are very happy you enjoyed the ostrich experience in the Klein Karoo, but do not want to claim merit where it is not due....the Cango Ostrich Show Farm does not offer tractor rides. We assume you went to the Safari Ostrich Farm? We hope...More

Do not visit here if you are expecting to see hundreds of ostriches and go ostrich riding if this will not happen. Basically you pick up some knowledge of types of ostrich and their contribution the the industry. Touch and stand on an egg, feel...More

Its very short tour for the amount of entrance and tour fees, nothing great or exciting. However the shop has good variety of Ostrich products and at reasonable price.

There is no age limit for riding an ostrich but please be aware that they can run extremely fast so keep this in mind when deciding if it is safe for your child, hope this helps.
