Had lunch at Oppiestoep restaurant as part of a family birthday celebration. This was the worst meal I have ever seen any restaurant serve and then charge people for it. Do not go there if you want a place to cater for a larger group...More

Oppiestoep is the restaurant at Klein Parys, and my wife and I dropped by for a late breakfast. Well, late it certainly was, because it took them 40 minutes to prepare Eggs Benedict for her and a Banting breakfast (fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, beef sausage...More

Our party of 10 people sat outside on the balcony for lunch. Lovely setting in the gardens and far enough from the main road not to hear the traffic. Very good service and good food with cold beer and wine.

Have regular lunches here, and tonight we decided to come for dinner. If you are looking for good old fashion home cooking and hospitality, this is the place. "Plaas kombuis" even served with old style tin plates. It's regular awesomeness.

We decided to give it a try on a Wednesday evening. We were the only people in the restaurant, which made the atmosphere cold. The staff were friendly. We were offered a complimentary glass of wine, bread and olive tapenade. The pizza was quite nice...More

We arrived as a group of four for lunch and the place was empty.....could that have been a subtle message?! Waitresses tried very hard but were let down badly by the kitchen and the manager. The feature metal and enamel plates were a disaster and...More

My husband and I popped in here for a cup of coffee. The coffee was good and the waitress was friendly and accommodating. It felt very at home watching the birds and enjoying the garden. It felt like we were on someone's patio at home....More
