Visit the Marikina Shoe Museum! You'll be educated, amazed and mesmerized with the shoes of the rich and famous like Imelda Marcos, our local politicians and celebrities, and some of Hollywood Stars.

This is one of Marikina's tourist spots, but yes, it's so small it can be a disappointment. If you are expecting to find a big place for shoes, go to the mall instead.

Very organized and courteous museum staff. The staff provides a catalogue of shoes and bags manufacturers to choose from should a visitor wants to order custom-made shoes.

It was an okayish visit. If you are here for a well spent day in a museum might as well visit book museum nearby (around 30 mins from here). This museum contains shoes as the name suggest but could at least make the experience more engaging and more informative as why Marikina became the shoe capital etc.

I wish the government's tourism office could improve the content of the tour and maybe think of more interactive/interesting activities inside the museum. So much potential.

A very interesting museum for all the Filipinos and foreigners to visit. Imelda definitely had a varied collections of shoes and Marikina is the right place to exhibit. The Shoe Capital!

A small museum with friendly helpful staff . Many international and Filipino celebrities have donated a pair of their shoes. But the highlight surely has to be Imelda Marcos' collection of shoes . Can't help but have a sneaky feeling the museum is secretly funded by her. Captions were unduly sympathetic to her. No mention of the excesses and corruption... More

You'll be quite surprised to see a world wide known attraction all to be in that very very small place.

I would say this is a worthwhile visit for anyone with enthusiasm for shoes, since 800 out of 3000 pairs of Imelda Marcos' shoes are on display, and what would a trip to Manila be without coming close to that?! It's fair to say the shoes here on show in cabinets are looking mostly a bit tired, which surprised me... More
