This building is now a museum. Although it is an interesting place to visit only if you have an interpreter with you. Everything is in Portuguese.

one of those small places that seems like it was done because it needed to be done for some other reason than having a museum. some pieces are nice, some are not, lot's of papers with stuff written. they are really not sure if it was ever really a synagogue.

This is an interesting old house which was once used as a sinagogue. It was an interesting place and yet we left not feeling like we had really learned that much about its Jewish history. It needs more signage and information for the visitor.
