This Convent in the Templar Castle is a former Roman Catholic monastery. Beautiful architecture, several different cloisters and a unique church, make this place worth a detour.

We were not sure if we would stop in Tomar, but it was absolutely worth it! The convent is sooooo beautiful and full of great spots. Spectacular rooms and so big!

Yes, there was. There is also a little train that you can pick up at the town square and for 2E round trip will take you to the entrance.
