A definitely unusual castle in Portugal with a large and complex defensive system. The entry ticket includes a film about the castle's history.

Great castle with big free car park right near it. Needed gps to find it though, signs seem to dry up on the way. Only 3 euro so quite the bargain for such a fun castle to visit.

This is a well-preserved medieval castle and fortress. The castle grounds offer a very good example of medieval military architecture. Recommended if you are in or around Santa Maria da Feira.
