Beautifully preserved castle, it is closed for restoration, but it is just beautiful to look outside too, if you are traveling from Antalya to Mersin don't forget to stop here to feed the turtles and take a walk around the castle.

The castle is still closed and it does not seem that they are working either. Imposing from the outside! We caught a dolmus on the road outside back to Anemur otogar.

This castle is preserved well and worth a visit. Also the place Anamur is a nice city to visit, especially the sea side resort from Anamur, called iskele. A few tourists from abroad, but more native Turks are visiting this area.
