Never know that Mafalda was "born" in that region. Visited it on a Sunday and there was also a great street market in the vicinity.

We loved these small statuettes dotted around the area and decided to make them our photo opportunities for us. We weren't alone in that idea :)

Come on. To know the cartoon character Mafalda is to love her. She is witty, innocent but wise, occasionally snarky, and reveals the truth. Sit next to her for the photo opp. It's required.

This statue is located in the San Telmo neighborhood. A very popular location for picture taken. Next to many restaurants and shops. Matilda is Argentina most popular female cartoon character.

We simply tripped on Mafalda on the way to dinner! She is bigger than she looks in this picture and in Buenos Aires you can't miss seeing her in some sort of photo, stature of souvenir - just good fun!

This is a nice place to visit, specially if you are with kids, it is a nostalgic place to take pictures to remember your trip to Buenos Aires.

this connection to history: countless public
demonstrations have passed through this square, going
back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the
streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos

You can find Mafalda Souvenirs in almost every shop in Buenos Aires. Just in front of Mafalda s statute, on the sidewalk you'll find at least 3 different shops
