So disappointed to trek out to deepest Once and find an empty shell instead of the fantastic experience I had read about. Go to Pain et Vin instead.

Enter Nigel's cellar with a sense of adventure, fun and curiosity. Ignore the surroundings, this is not a "dude" tasting put on by your hotel to extract the cash. It is the real thing, for people who enjoy wine and want some fascinating insights into Argentina and and a slightly crazed Englishmen abroad. Nigel is slightly obsessive both about wine... More

I have been a regular visitor to Mr Tollerman's tastings and a regular customer for his premium delivery service for more than 5 years. He is without doubt the best informed and most passionate sommelier I have had the pleasure to meet. Not only is he amply enthusiastic about Argentine wine but his knowledge can help you compare it to... More

Through my work I have a regular order delivered month by month. The variety of wines suits my guests well and tends to work well. Between Christmas and New Year I had clients with very specific palates that needed quenching. At Midday I had prominent customers placing desires, I was worried. By 8pm I had The Sommelier himself opening the... More

I highly recomend Nigel Tollerman's wine-tasting events. Some great wines worth way beyond the cost of the entrance fee, Nigel really knows his stuff and is a generous and entertaining host. And you know if Francis Ford Coppola trusts Nigel with his wines, you must be on to a good thing...

The three things that struck me most upon visiting Mr Tollerman's cellar for a tasting evening were firstly, he is genuinely a World Class Sommelier. Secondly, although it be his livelihood you can feel that wine is his passion first and foremost and his eccentric manner adds to the experience. He answered all of our silly questions and also a... About 30 people . ..mostly tourists from the USA...but some Europeans and a couple from Australia were at the wine tasting the evening we went. I should say wine POURING.. as the samples were all VERY GENEROUS and quite wonderful in terms of quality and diversity. We met some interesting people and actually ended up going to dinner with one... More
