By day, this riverfront area is a booming business and shopping district and by night, a hip neighborhood with pricey restaurants and fashionable clubs.

Is a great choice for business visitors since it provides huge private space instead of public space for which you typically pay and rarely use. Very secure building .Easy transportation to any part of BA and a great array of choices for evening dining and...More

Puerto Madero is the most fancy part of Buenos Aires. There are a lot of expansive 5 stars restaurants with pretty nice food. This is a newer part of the town and very organized and pretty, there is a river crossing in the middle of...More

Puerto Madero has some of the best restaurants in the city. They tend to be a bit pricy but the food is great. Even if you don't eat there it is still a nice place to walk around and see the beautiful Bridge of the...More

It's a lovely view over Buenos Aires here and one of the nicest places in the city, although the restaurants are London prices easily. It's far from a cheap city, one of the most expensive I've ever been too.

Puerto Madero is very beautiful but we walked a lot to get there, there is no very close access to the subway. It is worth the walk! We did not see a lot of attractions nearby and restaurants looked fancy. We had a beer in...More

Well the place is already mentioned in every travel guide and not without a reason. By day and by night it is worth to visit. Walk along the water on both sides. Stop for a drink and/or a bite and enjoy the location. Esp. nice...More

Another must see spot in Buenos Aires. Plan on strolling the length of the port to see a more modern side of the city. The walk has many resturants of all types. I've been in many, with never a bad experience in any.

From its refurbished red brick buildings and port
cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious
apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect
combination of old and new. The river provides a
quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the
hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away.
Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are
beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Hi, please help me and advise me. I am trying to buy 2 tickets for 29 Nov on Buquebus website for BA-MVD. I am very confused. If I go on Arg website they display 2 tickets for $ 4.296. If I go on Urug website they display 2 tickets for $ 9.140. Few questions for you: 1) Is the price on Urug site in Urug.Peso and on Arg site in Arg Peso?? If yes, they are significantly cheaper on Urug website than on Arg site. Why is that? 2) Do you suggest to buy there, on the Urug site (if they are in Urug Peso)? 3) Do you think I will be able to find tickets on the sailing date (29 Nov) and to pay cash in BA port? What is the best option in your opinion? Thank you in advance. Dejan
