While this was probably part of one of the more interesting stops on the free walking tour it's a pretty forgettable story and building. Only my wife's maiden name made this at all interesting for us. Thanks for reading. If you found this helpful I'll...More

This building resembles a hand gesture that insults someone. This building was built to cover the church behind it.

Situated on the bank of gorgeous San Martin square (the city's downtown), this building marked a feat of architecture and engineering. Guided visits are also available to admire this skyscraper from the interior.

In its heyday this was a Buenos Aires skyscraper, and the interesting shape of this building is still worth a look today.

It´s right in front of Plaza San Martín and Retiro. It used to be the first highest building in Argentina. It has quiet an interesting construction history that you can ask for at the information center at the corner of the building. Very nice to...More

Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings
combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to
make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy
sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to
and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied
by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the
port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest.
